Myths about the Church Age "Rapture"

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy is a Filipino evangelist who is also known as the Appointed Son of God.

He speaks of the Church Age Rapture as an incorrect and physical interpretation of this long awaited end-time event which many believe as a time when the believers of Jesus Christ who are still alive, along with the resurrected believers, will rise “in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air”.

Pastor Apollo said that the Rapture should not be interpreted in a physical way. God is a spirit and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. The Word of God must be understood in a spiritual way.

    Amen! Praise the Father! Indeed the rapture is not physical but rather Spiritual. As it is written in John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

    The Spiritual Rapture has come ever since the Appointed Son of God came to be and the Church age's Rapture is more of a misinterpretation made from their physical understanding

    Amen PTF. Indeed the son can only be the one who can preach and deliver into the world the true message of the Father Almighty. The second coming of Christ is totally here and it is fulfilled only int he life of the son that is why there is saying, "History repeats itself" and Pastor is bringing the life of our Lord Jesus Christ in this generation. And you whose history did you bring maybe you are lazaro or the persecutors of Christ or the priest who want to crucified our King.

    Only Pastor Apollo has a different definition of the rapture, totally different from the teachings of mainstream religion and denominations of the Church Age. As Pastor stressed, "first of all, it is spiritual". Indeed the Church Age of today is so physical, and their interpretation of the rapture is all physical.
